Photo enthusiast

I enjoy photographing birds, wildlife and landscapes. Hummingbirds have especially captivated me for the last couple of years.

Basically, my photographic philosophy is " What I see, you will see".

I try to be a minimalist with post processing enhancements to my images. I like to be as close to SOS, straight off the sensor, as I can.

I will change exposure and shadow if the subject is good enough for me to take those steps, but I much prefer not to. I prefer the camera as my pallet rather than the computer.

Crop is often necessary to showcase the subject. I view it as a more natural part of the art. It has been practiced in darkrooms for more decades than I have been alive.

All my images are in natural light and the camera is hand held.

Guess I have the heart of a photojournalist!
