Anything worth having or doing should be set aside once in a while. Don't let it dominate you. Don't let it become mundane. Maintaining balance is better. That's my outlook. Dressing up is special to me. I don't completely understand why I love it so much, but I accept the fact that I always have. Life can become a real downer if you let it, and this is one of the ways I have fun. This is how I bring a little cheer and excitement into my life.

My dreams came true recently when I hired a professional photographer and makeup stylist and posed for some boudoir photos. I had no experince doing so (well, not entirely true. I posed ages ago, but most of that memory has been lost to time), and posing is tougher than one would think. Therefore, I came away with mixed results. The photographer and stylist were superb, though, and very patient. Room for improvement lies with me. That's why I plan to do another photo shoot later this year. I really look forward to it.
