John D'oh is a Bristolian Street Artist and Author who was inspired from Hip Hop at a young age to pick up a spray can. Generally motivated by a sense of political or social injustice and the need to inform or remind the public about these important issues. That is why his work is often inspired by news articles as well as iconography from popular culture - it's a way of using the relatable and well-known imagery of films, celebrity or television to highlight contemporary problems in a way that will be accessible and memorably humorous for the widest possible audience he has said. Although John's humour can be pretty quirky and idiosyncratic.

The Artist does a mixture of work and work with different media but his installations tend to stick out more and tend to get noticed more by the general public. Over the years the installations are probably what he has become best known for and he was amongst the first to install art on the streets although these days more and more artist are giving it a go.

John has exhibited all over the world and has had a few well attended solo shows .He is probably the most jet washed and painted over artist in the UK as Councils rush to get rid of his messages as soon as they go up but his political art has become quite popular with the media and has featured in many articles
