My passion for photography started when I was young, my first camera was a Kodak Baby Brownie, which used 127 film, then I was given a Kodak Duaflex II twin reflex camera using 620 film with an attached bulb flash. This started my journey of taking photos and I get excited every-time I look through the lens of my camera and imagining the possibilities! I was a professional photographer once, among other things, but now retired and enjoy shooting photos. Before becoming a professional, I studied Art, then Applied Photography at Sheridan College, but being a professional does not guarantee that every shot will be the "one!" Sometimes, it's just recording a moment, other times it's creating an image that I see in my mind. The light is not always right, but not every shot is the perfect one, but it doesn't have to be either! Photographs are subjective and extremely personal to those of us who share are them on Flickr. I have been a Nikon owner since my early days and currently shoot on a Nikon D780, along with a Nikon D7000. Some of my earlier photos were shot on a Nikon FE2 or Nikkormat FTN film cameras. If I don't have my DSLR, I will use my Samsung S24 Ultra to capture the moment. If you see the shot take it, there may never be another chance!
