Magdi Wissa is a Fine Art photographer based in Ottawa, Canada. His journey began years ago, driven by a deep desire to explore the intricate connection between the Trinity of "Art, Time and Human Perception". With a background as an architect, Wissa received extensive training that immersed him in Design, Art History, and Fine Art Criticism. These disciplines profoundly shaped his understanding of aesthetics, form, and the emotional depth of art. However, amidst his architectural pursuits, photography always held a unique allure—a timeless medium that can freeze time, encapsulate the soul of a place and generate nostalgic emotions.

A few years ago, Wissa made a transformative decision to focus fully on photography, embarking on a journey to rediscover the world and telling stories through the timeless dialogue of “light and shadow”, evoking the beauty of the world around us.
