I've been photographing half of my life and am working as a biologist and environmental planner. I always loved to travel, especially in impressive landscapes devoid of humans, the far off, the better. My professional interest lies in plant ecology and I graduated in ecology of mountains and cities. I also have a special interest in the geography of Africa, but am keen to go anywhere I can.

I mostly did analogue photography with my Nikon F-801 and, more recently, an Olympus OM-2. In the past I did shoot with different compact and borrowed digitals cameras, and switched to a Nikon D750 now. When I scrolled through photos of old travels recently, I thought it's time now to go public with some shots, still, it's all for the fun of it.
