A picture, it is said, can say more than a thousand words. My collection of photos, essaying the juxtaposition of two divergent India’s reconciled as one, convey in a frame dynamics that words can’t fully articulate or describe. As a photographer, I traveled the length and width of the country capturing poignant moments with my perceptive lens-eye. My subjects – tell candid stories of everyday life without the interference of self-awareness. In some cases contradictions of two India’s are apparent in the same frame – In other cases, the diabolical nature of a culture with overlapping realities comes through in different pictures.
