My all-time favorite photo story is, when Helmut Newton went to a restaurant in Paris. The chef recognized Helmut Newton, came to his table and said to him: “I am a great admirer of your photos and your work. You have to use a very expensive camera and very expensive lenses!”

After dinner, the chef came to Helmut Newton to ask him if he liked the food and Helmut Newton said: “The food tasted absolutely excellent. You certainly cooks with very expensive pots!”
