April 2020. New to Flickr, "renewed" to photography. Covid confinement was the wake up call. After several years of taking snapshots more than photographs during work and travels I decided to "get back in the saddle" and try to re-discover photography and discover post processing. Humbled by the amazing talent of "real" photographers on Flickr I am as much motivated as intimidated at the same time. Being a maritime pilot in the St. Lawrence River in the province of Quebec (Canada), I have a vantage viewpoint that few people have. I will try to work on the techniques to try to make people jealous of my "office view". As I have (or had - depending on the confinement measures the future- ) the chance to travel, I will revisit my pictures with a new angle and I might dare to show a few. Avril 2020. Petit nouveau dans l'univers de Flickr. Le confinement du Coronavirus a agit comme un déclencheur

Je redécouvre la photographieront en apprivoisant - si c'est possible - le traitement photo. Impressionné par l'incroyable talent des "vrais" photographes sur Flickr, je suis autant motivé qu'effrayé de présenter mes photos. Travaillant comme pilote maritime sur le Saint-Laurent au Québec, j'ai la chance d'avoir un "point de vue" différent de la plupart des gens. Je vais tenter de travailler mes techniques photos de sorte à rendre tout le monde jaloux de ma "vue sur la mer". Comme j'ai (ou j'ai eu si le confinement perdure) le privilège de faire plusieurs voyages, je vais scruter "dans les archives" pour voir si je n'aurais pas quelques vraies photos au travers des clichés et j'oserai peut être en suggérer quelques unes. C'est avec enthousiasme que je me lance dans cette nouvelle navigation. Soyez à l'aise de me me faire part de vos commentaires, critiques ... et aide :)
