2020 was tough, but a positive outcome for me was discovering my love of photography. I used lockdown to learn how to use software like Lightroom, before shooting photos on my smartphone with external lenses. Moving forward, I can't wait to dive further into photography with my DSLR I got for Christmas. With the DSLR, I hope to improve my skills with animal photography and other subjects that require a zoom to a degree that a smartphone would not suffice. I am a big fan of traveling and take as many photos as I can, but I now have the reason to put more care and thought into each shot. While I love to take pictures of national parks and scenery, I also love to photograph infrastructure and buildings, probably reflecting my job as a civil engineer.
