In the year 2016, the charity movement was established by the Baidya Family with children activities. Then the movement was known as “Light of God-Bangladesh” and from the family contribution they arranged all the activities. It started with children’s camps and hand-washing activities. Gradually Cloth/blankets distribution, educational materials distribution, Medical Camp & medicine distribution, Tree plantation, Art Competition, Drug Awareness, recognition of talented students, Child education support center, and different day observations are arranged for the children, youth, and community. The movement is working in different working areas to bring changes in the children, youth, senior citizens, and the community, In the year 2023 the movement is named “Life Changers -Bangladesh”. We have 4 focuses Education, Health, Protection, and Humanitarian support & Capacity Development. Our targeted groups are children, youth, senior citizens, and the marginal community and we are working in Khulna, Dinajpur & Gopalganj areas. We have a few child education support centers called ‘New Life Child Development Center’ where school-going children attend after their classes for five days a week. We have a caregiver/motivator for each center that can help the children with preparing the homework and the next day’s class. Also, children are learning about cultural activities like drawing, singing, dancing, and many issues. Children also receive educational & hygiene materials from the centers. We arrange medical camps and medicine distribution for the centers and community so that they can get free medical screening and medicine. For the child protection issue, we have different awareness activities on child rights. To save the environment we distribute saplings among children and the community. During the winter season, on cold waves, we distributed blankets to the marginal community. With our different activities, we are trying to bring changes among the communities so that they become caring for themselves, society, and the environment.
