If an oil painting, for example, is highly predictable, and etching implies about one third of unexpected effects, the result of working with enamel, in its turn, is up to 70% accidental. Accident is the most beautiful thing in art. When you master the main secrets of the technique, you can deliberately change something, do something wrong on purpose, and upon getting the results, you can build a whole new system from this mistake. Enamel is a technique that allows you to create a mystery.

My goal is to show my audience a whole immense world. You don’t have to look deeply into each element, each ornament. The most important thing in art is mood.
