I became interested in painting many years ago but did not pursue it because I was too busy with my family and a full time career. When I retired in 2007, I began painting again on a regular basis. Since then, I have taken many art classes and workshops and I am involved in multiple art organizations and participate in several juried and judged exhibits each year. I love to paint portraits so I am happy to join the Julia Kay Portrait Party.
