Photography enthusiast from Philadelphia. I learned to shoot when I was a kid using a Kodak Instamatic and a Polaroid, inspired by my father who was a very good amateur photographer. I later used a Yashica and Praktica SLR. I have taken breaks from photography due to life circumstances but I have found a renewed love for it, I like to shoot both nature and urban scenes. I also have a love for old or abandoned places or things. I imagine them in their glory and wonder who came and went from certain places. I believe I can find beautiful and interesting things everywhere. I think the goal of my photography is to help others do the same. I also like to see and tell stories in photographs.

Thanks for viewing my photos. I appreciate faves and comments and try hard to return the favor.

Our bios are very similar; I too owned a Yashica film SLR, way back when. I enjoy your gallery and your keen observations. Thank you for sharing.

What would most stand out from the images in Paul's gallery is colour, but not only, because his way of treating light and composition reveal the curious, restless and sensitive gaze of a great artist. Even so, there is something beyond the photographer that goes into the emotional and the person: his motivation for learning and, of course, his kindness and cooperative spirit. It's an honour sharing pics, experience and Flickr with Paul.

A nice about from Paul. I read and see that we share the love for urbex locations (which we hardly have in the Netherlands). I like his photos and hope to see more photos from him.
