Vyasadev Jew Bhagabat Tungi , Odisha is the brain child of Mr. Satyabrata Mishra and Vyasadev Jew Committee.They aim to promote and instill morality in the life of Indians through conducting “Bhagabat Tungis” at various places in the country . The Tungi consists of elite and learned vedic scholars. This tungi is more than 300 years old institution. The tungi is a testimony to the rich heritage and spirituality which the country possessed long back.

The conception of V.J.B.T. took eons ago about the time of the carving of the three deities :- Lord Jagannath , Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra from the Daaru which came floating on the seashore. To rekindle the flame of Bhagabat Tungi among all the denizens of India, V.J.B.T has pledged to conduct a “Vishwa Shanti MahaYajna” in every state of the country. This mahayajna will unite all the learned young scholars across the country under one umbrella.
