I got into photography when my wife was on dialysis, and I became a caregiver on top of being a husband. Her family and friends said to her I would need an outlet because of the stress. She liked to get out because she was home while I was at work. We joined the local photo club. She got to socialize, and I got to learn more about photography. She would also learn from the group. After the transplant she had problems with the medication and was wheelchair bound. When we would go on photo outings she would see a great photo opportunity and tell me to to get it. I would take the photo and sho her. She’d say that’s it or, no take it again. “Leading Lines” “Rule of thirds” she was the eyes and I was the feet of our team. I lost her 4 years later and with the support of the camera club and family and friends I have continued with photography. She has still to this day helped me line up some of the most beautiful photos that you will see on my sight. I have turned photography into therapy.
