Try and make it interesting - whatever interesting is.

First dabbled with photography after trains came into my life in late 1970s Stevenage, but alas all train photos I took from then until the mid 1980s were thrown away many years ago when I gave up on trains.

Bought my first Nikon SLR film camera in 1991 before switching to digital with Nikon in the early 2000s to document the family growing up.

A move to Uttoxeter in 2019 with a very with local Derby to Stoke line, plus a switch to a shiny new Sony camera, has ignited my interest in train photography but I also want to document the current world/whatever takes my fancy and have bought a Ricoh GRIIIX for use as an always-on-me camera.

In 2024 returned to film by buying a Nikon F100 - now to spend yet more money slowly buying some lenses for it.
