Most (but not all) of my photos can be used without my personal authorization but you will have to pay attention to how each photo is classified. Some are "all rights reserved", but most are "Attribution-NoDerivs". If you use my photos in any way other than the way I have them classified I will save a big hairy eyeball just for you. 😉

Lessons I've learned about digital photography and Flickr:

1. Digital Photography is so complicated, you feel proud of the accomplishment when you make a great shot.

2. Digital Photography is so simple, you feel like an imbecile when you make a bad shot.

3. Sometimes a color photo is better in black and white and I'm not exactly sure why.

4. All Flickr users have their own computer monitors with their own brightness, contrast and color settings.

5. Ten years ago I spent $1200 for camera gear. Two days ago my wife made a better shot with her iPhone.

6. The endorphin-rush from receiving Flickr Views and Favs can also be achieved by playing Clash of the Clans.

7. Vertical photos (portrait format) get lost between other photos on your photostream because they appear half as large or even smaller. Flickr should fix this.

8. No one knows Flickr's secret formula for calculating and sorting your "Most Interesting" photos, but I think it has something to do with the number of times a photo has been viewed up close - enlarged.

I'm sure there are more lessons to come.

Stay tuned.

I was a Flickr user 10+ years ago and lost touch with it. I HAVE RETURNED once again for reasons unknown. Retirement... perhaps. 😎 I bought a DSLR camera 11 years ago and I am still trying to figure out how to use the damn thing. But it is fun, funny, and I enjoy it.

Since you have taken the time to read all of this crap, I will simply say Thank You, God Bless you, and I hope you will come back to see me from time to time.
