Hi, I'm Tom I started doing photography from a young age and have always had a love of animals. I have visited may zoos around the UK over the UK but my home zoo is Colchester Zoo which is just up the road.

I currently use A Nikon D3s with a variety of Sigma lens which i have owned for a number of years. I started doing most of my Photography in 2009 when i went out to Kenya for 3 weeks. I was soon approached by Colchester Zoo if i would be happy to support the zoo with my photos helping them to advertise in and round the zoo. Since then i have had photos published in magazines over the years and featured on front covers over the years and i have to say its one of the most enjoyable experiences i have ever had. I've met so fantastic and lovely people along the way and made some great friends with other photographers and learnt skills from each other.
