Howdy Everyone! It has been such a wonderful journey and the strife has always been worth it. I'm a very happy woman with a very happy trans wife. Patience is so important in transitioning. Being open and honest with yourself and your desires is key in living an authentic life. You think this is a simple idea, but many people struggle with it. I'm finally at a point where I am happy with my body... well, lose a few pounds more, but yes! It is a wonderful day when I wear a top or dress and don't have to have the padded bra if I don't want to... Just keeping the gender dysphoria to the minimum is my goal.

UPDATE; 7/23 Wow, how time flies!!! Some major relationships. One wonderful experience in experimenting and learning who I am as a woman and what I want from a relationsip. It didn't end badly, but it would have amounted to more, but I got a wonderful friend out of the experience! Fast forward and as one can see, I have found a super woman! We understand each other and it is amazing how we managed to find one another and we haven't stopped. The wedding is in December!

UPDATE: It has now been a year and a half on HRT. I have added Progesterone for the last six months. (Hot Flashes are fun!) I have had a wonderfully blessed time transitioning... from work to friends... family... we will work on! I have surpassed a year living as myself, Melissa. I hope in the coming months with all my letters in hand and surgeon picked out and consult done... I will have bottom and top surgery! I'm looking forward to it more than it makes me nervous. So, that says a bunch!

It has almost been a year on HRT... I am One!!!! (That sounds much better than my actual age!) It has been a whirlwind. The actual transitioning has been blessed and very smooth. It gets easier every day! From making the decision to finally be my true and authentic self... To starting to tell people... The fear and happiness with telling all that I am Melissa!!! The love and support has been wonderful. I am full time now and have been since August. There is no going back! I will say this to those wondering about transitioning... I've learned this... If you don't bother people... Don't get in to their business... Don't stand out. That the world and others are too busy worrying about their lives, to worry about you. Just live your life... Be happy! It can be done!
