My Name is Brett and I live in Orange County, California near the beach, mountains, and desert. I'm enjoying my new hobby of shooting around my home. I try to avoid snapshots and look to tell subtle stories. Eventually, I hope to do a good job.

Orange County beaches are among the most beautiful in the world and I know most of their secrets as I have surfed and swam them for 50+ years. Now it is time to start telling their stories.

I'm going to eventually be telling a photographic story of Ortega Highway, a beautiful but a sometimes dark and disturbing place. Some of the photographs I've already taken have had a dark event take place at one point in time, some photographs, because it is just a pretty place.
