East Nashville Magnet Middle School is a magnet/option school located in the heart of diverse, historic East Nashville.

Our mission is to ensure that all students and staff embrace active lifelong learning and become productive, compassionate citizens of the world through rigorous intercultural instruction.

Beginning in the 2021-2022 school year, East Middle will offer the acclaimed International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) to all students grades 6-8. As an IB World School, we use the challenging framework of IB that emphasizes academic rigor and personal development through cultivation of students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills while focusing on connections between classroom studies and real-world applications.
