While attending college at the University of Texas at Austin I began to take a deeper interest in learning photography when working at the Dolph Briscoe Center for American History. There I worked in the Photo Department where I meet and learned from some of the greatest photojournalist of our time like Dirk Halstead, Wally McNamee, Lucian Perkins and others including documentary photographers. I also worked with local photographers in photoshoots and digitization of artifacts. I have taken this experience and have continued to apply it to my own interpretation of light.
