Raised in Lebanon, CT, I’ve traveled and lived far and wide, residing in Paxton, MA since 1984. A free-range child, I spent most waking hours outside, often discovered in my tree house writing poetry or sketching. Enjoying making all sorts of art, I took Saturday art classes at Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT) as a youngster, and, later, transferred there, majoring in art/college track for my last two years of high school. I won the Connecticut State art award with a woodcut of an urban scene, my senior year.

As an Art Major at Chatham University, in Pittsburgh, PA, where I majored in sculpture, I also designed a toy, a version that was marketed by Creative Playthings.

Since my retirement from a 30+ years career of higher education/public relations, I have enjoyed doing art in a variety of mediums from cloth to canvas to collage to “Out of the Box” creations, having full shows at CC Lowell’s, Nu Kitchen, Gale Free Library, Assumption College, Liberty Bank (Paxton), The Harvest Grille (Jefferson), Richards Library (Paxton), The Willows at Worcester, and the Senior Center in Princeton, MA. I have shown in the Massasoit Art Guild and Princeton Art Society shows.

My multimedia piece, “Pie Lady,” is a permanent fixture at Worcester’s Theatre Café.

My art resides in homes and businesses in Holden, Sutton, Rutland, Jefferson, Worcester, West Brookfield, (former) Durgin Park Restaurant, Boston, MA, and Paxton, MA, as well as in Florida, Alabama, Washington State, California, and Oregon, Michigan, USA I have work abroad in Scotland, Asquez, France, Spain, Australia, and Cambridge, Swindon, Bristol, and Sussex, England.
