I have been posting photos on Flickr for a little more than a year as of September 2023. During this time I have learned a great deal from the folks I follow and from the various photos I have seen. I really love it when there is a description of the equipment used as well as an explanation and description of the photo. These details help me to understand the capabilities and uses of the equipment described.

I have also developed a real love of Black & White photography. Hard for me to put my finger on it but the absence of color seems to makes for a grand dramatic effect. I love it and I really enjoy developing B&W film. When I run a film through the developer and see the images on the roll of film it’s like Christmas morning when I was a kid. It never gets old!

My collection of cameras has grown and continues to grow and now includes multiple Nikon and Olympus 35mm cameras and lenses, as well as Nikon and Fuji DSLR’s. I also have a Pentax 6X7 and 645 and a Fujica GW690. I enjoy experimenting with vintage lenses and get a big kick from finding a garage sale junker and bringing it back to life.

I’m always looking to learn new things, so any suggestions or constructive criticism is greatly appreciated. There are so many talented people on this website and I have already learned so much from you.
