I live for the perfect Martini shot!

I love creating things. I always have. But over the past four years, I’ve developed a passion for videography, post production and special effects, which have fuelled my desire to pursue a career in the film industry. I see this career path as a vocation not just a job. I love it, I’m pretty good at it and I can confidently say I could happily work on it 24/7.

Who am I?

I have a good work ethic because I love to succeed. I am a self-starter and believe in entrepreneurship. I’m a great communicator and aspire to push myself as hard as I can. When I plan out an idea, whether it’s for a movie or not. I’m sat at my table, headphones on and in the mood. And I get on with the work,

I’ve always seen myself as the nice guy, always making sure others are okay before myself. Constantly making sure no one is upset and involving everyone in a project. As I see fairness as the lead trait in our society -giving everyone a chance and forgiving mistakes, as every mistake is not a set back but in fact a learning curve. This is what I live by, that if I go wrong, all I can do to move forward is learn from my mistakes and do better next time.

Not everything comes withease, and you need to work with patience and good will to complete a goal. I see this as reflection on how I approach challenges and how I would approach a project. I would do the best I can, if I made a mistake I would ask for help and try again, and NEVER quit.

However everyone has weaknesses and I’ll be honest I like to challenge the status quo and think outside the box. I enjoy approaching projects froma different angleand finding out if there is a better way to do something. I follow the rules, but whenthere is the opportunity, I also like to make some of my own.

What I do

In my own time, I’ve made short movies, worked with special effects, designed logos and websites and taken a lot of photos. I’m passionate about VFX but I enjoy other aspects of video and film-making, such as camera operations, research, lighting and directing. Currently, I’m using Maya, After Effects, Premier Pro, Blender, Photoshop and Nuke for compositing, 3D/2D tracking and colour grading.
