Retired sixty something. Had a camera in front of my face since I was about fifteen. Had a darkroom most of those years (first one consisted of blankets tacked to the floor joists in a dirt floor basement... things got better after that) The darkroom/manual shooting/ learning the Zone system have proved invaluable in my conversion to digital. I believe EVERY image maker would make far better images if they start with the basics, and go from there. Sort of like using a calculator without understanding what makes numbers "tick".

Really dislike shooting contrived studio images. Love shooting people being people and all the great outdoors.
