Enthusiastic amateur astronomer, astrophotographer and some birds too.

Most of the astro images were imaged using an SBIG ST2000XM monochrome cooled CCD camera and Custom Scientific RGB filters, as well as Astronomik 12nm Ha, Oiii and Sii filters.

This camera has now been replaced with an SBIG STT-8300m with the FW8G-STT loaded with a full set (L,R,G,B,C,Ha.Oiii, and Sii) of Baader 36mm unmounted filters

The mount used is a Skywatcher NEQ6 with autoguiding.

The telescopes used were either:

1. Skywatcher 8" Quattro carbon fibre newtonian reflector with a Skywatcher 102/500 telescope mounted on top and a Meade DSI ii camera for guiding.

2 Skywatcher ED80 refractor telescope with an Orion ST80 guide scope and an Orion Star shoot guide camera.

All images were acquired with Astrophotography Tool (APT), stacked in Deep Sky Stacker, then calibrated and processed by my helper in Pixinsight.
