I am a Korean-British student (of Korean, Irish, English, Portugese, Spanish, and unknown African ancestry). My passions are art, writing, photography, martial arts, music, singing and motorcycling.

Martial Arts

I have been studying martial arts since the age of 4. I currently hold a 1st dan Black Belt in Shotokan Karate and have taught Karate. I have won numerous gold medals in Kumite and medals in kata at the Provincial level. I was a member of the 2019 British Columbia Karate Team and represented BC at the 2018 Nationals in Edmonton, I have also studied Goju Ryu Karate-do (IOGKF), Taekwondo, Iaijutsu. I am currently studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Writing

I enjoy writing prose and poetry. My short story, Empire's End, placed third in the 2019 North Vancouver Public Library Teen Writing Contest and selected for publication. I am now developing it into a novel and a screenplay. At the age if 14, I was accepted into an adults only writing programme at Story Institute in Vancouver.
