The wife started it in a Scottish farmers field some 4 years ago........

Yep, thought that would get your attention !

we have a touring caravan & while attending a rally in Scotland the Stewards came round asking for volenteers to enter a beauty comp( men only ) I declined but the wife said give it a go----- I entered but pointed out i had no clothes , not a problem said the stewards we have some......

That night in the store room of the village hall a group of us ( 9 ) got changed. Standing next to a local member i watched him changing-- black bra & knickers, long silver evening dress ( the member is 6ft4 tall ! ) i enquired as to the sorce of the dress-- Oh came the reply ,i got it from a charity shop in Arbroath-- well if thats how big the woman are in Arbroath i dont want to meet the men.......... :-)

I didnt win ( dressed in black leggings ,dress, straw hat & pigtails ) the shoes were size 8 ( i take a size 9 ) they crippled me !

The prize was won by a young lad dressed in his mothers tights & sisters dress.

We returned home & i vowed to get my own gear for the next comp. So to the charity shops-- i quickly found out that size9 shoes ( wide ) were in shorter supply than hens teeth ! While shopping for slippers for the wife ( birthday ) in Primark i found a shelf of reduced shoes--- including size 9 !( they were marked £7.50 -- when i took them to the counter i was charged £5 ! ) True i had to widen them but i was on the way ! A horrible dress was located on ebay, i needed a bra.... Bought a small cup size in primark but was not happy. Some time later passing a "jigger" ( back entry - liverpool ) i found a box with old cast off clothes---- with a LARGE black bra on top ! so took it home.......

Looking in the window of the local charity shop i spotted a pair of evening gloves. Went in & the assitant gave me the gloves to try on-- way too small. Looking at me the assistant said she was worried about me ( i knew what she was thinking ! ) i pointed out she should direct her concern to---- herself ! -- your dressed in trousers, "Bob the builder boots" short hair Ect.... she looked at me for a minute ( could hear the wheels going round in her head ! ) she flung the gloves down ,shouted to her mate " you serve him --i wont ! " &stormed off ( to much amusment of another customer ) & so it went on.

I built up my wardrobe over the year & as we got close to the next event i was told by the organisers the event was cancelled.........

BUT putting on the clothes brought a strange enjoyment .......... the " magic had started "

The museum in Liverpool had a Clothes exhabition on ( clothes made for a liverpool crossdresser some years ago ) wife sugested a visit & so we went ---- some dresses ! looked like they came from " Gone with the wind " film.

at this point i started getting odds & ends .I went to a local "EvansShop " as my daughter wanted some purple shoes . could not find any her size but i found some size 9... took them to the counter-- Ah says the assistant you found her ( the daughter ) a pair --- Oh no says i -- their for me ! The rest of the transaction took place in silence......... though the wife knew about my bits for the ( non ) event i felt very unhappy at doing it in secret ( i prefer to be honest ) but the possable effects....

I broached the subject in stages rather than one lump ( thus possable overload ) after a few weeks i " came out" Their were questions of course ( & there still are ) but when i asked the wife for her view back came the reply -- " its you being you " the relief.....

I now have a small selection of clothes & shoes-- the wife eccepts me walking round the house "dressed " but just how far i can go.....

I have yet to try makeup , going out all things "down the road" i feel like a ship crossing a large ( empty ) ocean you dont have anybody to ask.........

So feeling my way slowly , well aware of the undesirable people around....

Did i mention i am about to start my 77 th year............

Well now have a selection of makeup items-- its not as easy to use them as it seems ! Having watched Girls put on " lippie" with a quick flick of the wrist thought-- nothing to it ,how wrong i was.............

i have not been here very long but have had to block 2 members, Sorry but if i want to look at " private parts" i have my own thanks .

Just thought i might add hobbies to my blog so,--

Quadcopters, designing & flying model aircraft, model engineering , steam engines, mobile caravaning, model ships- carved/made from basic items not kits & that cover all --tinkering with things !
