I gained the 'L' in 2013, and have attended most East Midlands meetings since 2012.

My first camera was a Brownie 127, followed by the Kodak 66. I joined my school camera club, where I learnt the basics of shutter speed, aperture and (in those days) film speed. The camera was put away except for holidays!

As I approached retirement, in 2004, my wife bought me a compact digital camera and,as they say, from little acorns ...............
