Mit dem Hobby - Fotografie - beschäftige ich mich nun mehr seit einem halben Jahrhundert. Die ersten Fotos machte ich auf Reisen, später dann auch auf Familienfeiern, Landschaften, Hochzeiten, Architektur, Oldtimer und Sachfotografie. Meine erste eigene Kamera in den 1980er war eine Nikon FE, später Nikon F3HP. Ab 2003 erfolgte der Umstieg auf die digitale Fotografie. Ich nutze überwiegend Nikon Kameras und -Objektive, aktuell ist der Umstieg komplett auf spiegellose Kameras erfolgt (Z8 und Zfc).

Fotografie ist für mich immer ein Festhalten von Eindrücken, Stimmungen und spannenden Momenten, egal wo!

Mit dem Rentenbeginn habe ich nun auch mehr Zeit für die aktive Teilnahme in Fotoclubs, wie NW55+, Fotogruppe Dormagen und Fotogruppe 7, Wuppertal.

I've been pursuing photography as a hobby for over half a century. I took my first photos while traveling, and later expanded to family celebrations, landscapes, weddings, architecture, classic cars, and product photography. My first camera in the 1980 was a Nikon FE, later a Nikon F3HP. In 2003, I switched to digital photography. I primarily use Nikon cameras and lenses, and currently, I've completely switched to mirrorless cameras (Z8 and Zfc).

For me, photography is always about capturing impressions, moods and exciting moments, no matter where!

Since retiring, I now have more time to actively participate in photography clubs, such as NW55+, Fotogruppe Dormagen, and Fotogruppe 7 in Wuppertal.
