Hi,

Welcome to Katie McAuley who is moi. I used to use Flickr to express just adventures and unique sights, but now I use it as a way to express not only what I experience in SL, but how I feel about it when I do. It has been a good way to get my thoughts out whether they are for better or for worse. I have been in Second Life for over 17 years, which is a long time to be part of anything. I have seen a lot of change here. I have felt a lot of joy, some anger and sadly, heartbreak. Sometimes I have felt grief. That is life in RL or SL though, bumps and all. For me SL is real in terms of how it makes me feel. My emotions are real even in an electronic world. My connections are cerebral as it is all we have there - our minds and thoughts. I hope through my pictures you can get a better view into my minds eye and see not just what I see, but how I feel when I am seeing it. This is who I am here. Please enjoy.
