Life has been a journey of twists and turns, ups and downs, and photographs stitched together, that tell my story. While my home for the last seven years has been Florida, my story begins in my home town of Chicago. A place of broad shoulders, magical winds, a majestic lake, great food, and some of the most genuinely friendly folks on the planet. That is where my Love for photography began. From the tallest of sky scrapers, to the strength and force of my lake frozen in the Winter. Chicago provided and enkindled in me the need to photograph everything. Ah yes, the world was a wondrous place there in that city by the lake. My world seemed complete, that is, until I experienced the beauty and gentle breezes of Florida. Where the beautiful sunrises challenge the beauty of a sunset, both painted in majestic glory and triumphantly beautiful in their own separate right. This is where my soul speaks to me, and demanded I break out my camera once again. Through the rustling of the mangroves and sea oats, to the song of the gulls and the sea, my spirit comes alive with every moment spent at the shore, and I cannot deny the new Love that now inspires me to photograph everything once again. Life is a tale told with every step and every vision along it’s way. My tale includes the fortune of being married thirty years to the Love of my life, and having two beautiful children, whom I adore with my whole being. Add two pups, both rescues, and my home is complete. When I am not shooting portraits of people, I am certainly out exploring and photographing all the beautiful secrets of this beautiful place, Florida! The soul yearns to share it all. What better way than with photographs!
