I live in a small town called Inglewood. Inglewood is situated in Taranaki on the western side of the North Island of New Zealand. Mount Egmont/Taranaki looms large over the Taranaki countryside. It's classed as a dormant volcano.

I have a love of photography mainly macro and garden photography.

At the moment I have discovered the Russian Helios lenses and like them very much. I like the out of focus effect that these lenses give.

The camera I use is the Fujifilm XPro1 That model camera gives film like quality, like no other digital camera model that I know.

Latest update 04 June 2020: Have just purchased a Nikon DSLR (D7500 Model) and a Tamron lens 100 mm-400 mm, so am going to give bird photography a go. Must say though, going from Mirrorless to DSLR, I find the DSLR more responsive than the mirrorless
