I am a retired professor of Ecology and Botany. My life has been formed by my love of landscapes and subsequently led to my love of photography. A Flickr friend pointed me to Stieglitz and his work and philosophy have greatly influenced my approach to photography. Following Stieglitz’s doctrine of the Equivalent these images are my attempt to represent the equivalent of what I saw and felt.
