I AM A HOBBYIST PHOTOGRAPHER, A WIFE AND A MOTHER/CARER & RETIRED - YAY!

I started my photography journey after the passing of my mother which left a void in my life. I decided I needed a hobby, something for me. I already had a camera but did not know anything past turning it on, naturally in Auto, and press the button. I joined an online class which taught me the different functions of my camera and the techniques involved in taking a good photograph. Then I joined another online photography community where my learning continues to grow through the dedication of the business owner and the community.

When I look at the mountains, a simple tree, a hedge, pretty flowers, the sky, birds flying around; these simple things make me feel happy and I forget the annoyances that life can bring sometimes. I love seeing the beauty that nature provides in life that surrounds me every day.
