I became a "Weevil addict" the day a kind of this insect climbed on my hand while I was drying myself on the shore of small river falls in the Philippines in March 2018.

Recently I acquired the conviction that this weevil was actually a Poteriophorus imperatrix, after reviewing the totallity of the orginal descriptions of the 26 known species.

I am now keen of collecting and taking photos of beetles, especially weevils.

The identification of these beetles shall be considered as "attempts of idendification" since I am an amateur and I have a limited access to the bibliography and no access at all to Holotypes or cotypes.
