I'm Matej Štegar, I come from Ptuj, the oldest town in Slovenia(Europe).

I'm an amateur photographer. I like to photograph extreme weather events at home and abroad.

I have been involved in extreme weather photography for over 10 years, more intensively for the last 5 years when my colleagues travel to neighboring countries (Italy, Croatia, Austria, Hungary,Czech Republic,Germany and France).

I also have my own Davis weather station at home. The information is also available online every 5 minutes (ptuj.zevs.si).

At the same time, I have been recording various weather data in the weather log for almost 20 years.
