I'm a science fiction writer. I enjoy exploring the virtual world of Second Life and looking for nuggets of inspiration among many of the sims. I enjoy attending virtual poetry readings, engaging in writer's workshops online, and some more local ones. I am currently working on my novel entitled 'Aphelion Delta', which I fear will never be finished if I don't shut my internal editor up.

Oh, and you'll see there's another Shaz on my follows. I'm not her, she's not me. I chose the name Shaz Skye for two reasons. First, in school, I was known as Dr. Shaz by friends, it was a nick given to me by some uni mates. The Skye derives from my character name Nebulae Skye in my novel Aphelion Delta.
