Vivalon was founded in 1954 as Marin Senior Coordinating Council. Today, Vivalon promotes the independence, well-being and quality of life for older adults and people living with disabilities in Marin County. Through a comprehensive and integrated healthy aging approach, older adults and other vulnerable populations receive meals and groceries through our Nutrition Services, educational opportunities and social connection through our Healthy Aging Center, and specialized and medical transportation through Vivalon Rides.
