I am a retired wildlife veterinarian with the U.S. Department of the Interior and U.S. Department of Agriculture. I've been making pictures throughout my adult life, with a special emphasis on wildlife, landscapes, and people. Many of my photos are not pretty in the traditional sense -- with some of my pictures I try to point out issues, ironies and humor where they emerge. Overall, my goal with photography is to inform and entertain viewers.
