The act of photographing and living in the very moment brings joy to my life. I only shoot film. All my attempts with digital have left me empty. I need the peace and quiet without screens and buttons, the vision in my head - and the anticipation and feeling of delayed gratification while waiting for my images. Photography has been my passion since I was 16 years old, and that's a long time ago.

I shoot what's around me. I don't go looking for pictures or opportunities.

I used to be One Pic A Day, taking one polaroid picture every day for 20 years. I was very active here between 2006 and maybe 2012 under this name, but then got tired of social media and cancelled all of my accounts from facebook to flickr. Never regretted it.

Tentatively getting back into flickr, without stressing out about it. We‘ll see where this leads me to. All the other social media platforms will happily survive without my me, and me without them. Life is where I live.
