I am a retired zoo veterinary technician with a passion for nature photography. I enjoy creating abstracts from naturally occurring subjects. I've been photographing for half a century now. I find, like most of you, I look at the world a bit differently, composing the world with the idea of immortalizing many of those aspects in my own way. My other outside interest is as an historical re-enactor: the US Civil War and an early 1800's era broker of indentured servants at encampments open to the public. I very much enjoy melding photography into that mix. Learning and sharing information is in my nature. Photography is another means that allows me to do both.
