Hello! Welcome to a bit of blather about me.

First things first. . . I have zero talent for the lens, digital or otherwise; as a result, you'll rarely see a picture here that is mine, and I'll never lay claim to something that isn't. So, while I can tell you what F-stop, Bokeh, aperture and ISO are, this is a far distance from being able to use them.

Carrying right along......

About the pictures..... From the swell of an ocean wave, to the curve of a breast. Seeing the light in her eyes, or the quirk in his smile, I love the imagery that is so eloquently displayed here on Flickr. I have a tremendous respect for those who dwell behind the camera and can so intimately and accurately capture in all it's glory and staggering beauty, the world around us.

So, with that being said.... Let me address those who will come here butt hurt because I have favored one of their images without one (or much, depending on the day) of my own; No insult is implied nor offered. I cannot change what is, and I'm likely not to develop overnight, like a superpower, the ability to take pictures that look like someone over the age of 6 captured it. In all my 44 years, it hasn't happened, and I'm not expecting it to any time soon. If you are so offended still, do your worst; go ahead and block me, ban me, rant about me, or whatever else makes you feel better. Then take a cleansing breathe, get over it, and carry on.

Now, to all the photographers herein (even you easily offended ninnies), salute and bravo, and thank you for sharing your talent with the world!

Oh! If anyone can tell me how to replace the little colorful camera image with one of my own, that'd be cool. Attempts so far have been unsuccessful.
