2025.. I'm a very happily retired accountant who has been fotoging since 2000, starting with a 3MP Canon D30.. I love landscape fotografy and have been getting out a few times a year; my age--81--and medical conditions--arthritis, tired legs, REreplaced shoulder--limit me sometimes, especially to lower-weight foto gear.. I've been thru probably two-dozen camera systems in my almost 25 years.. The last few years I have sold a Canon R5 system, bought and sold another Sony a7R4 system and a Fuji GFX100S system (fabulous quality but too heavy for this oldfart), bought and sold a Fuji XT-4 system, and in 2021 purchased a 24"-wide, Epson P7570 printer.. In 2023 I purchased a 40MP Fuji X-H2 and supplemented my X-series lenses with a couple higher-quality ones.. Have had a couple M43 systems the last-few years, but this spring I'm returning to the large-format Fuji GFX100S.. And return, I did, but it was AGAIN too heavy for me.. Currently I have a Sony a7R V with Batis 18mm, Sony 24-70/2.8 MG-II, and Tamron 50-300/4.5-6.3; all this weighs less than 6 pounds/2.7kg .

I live in the desert-southwest of America (Phoenix, AZ) and love it; I'm (happily, far) from Minnesota and I HATE snow and slush.. My wife of 38 years went to Heaven in 2021 after battling lung cancer for 8 years, and my retired sister returned to Phoenix and me from Columbus, OH with her dog, and it's very nice to have a loved one AND now TWO dogs again.
