Agnew Spread Copley
Drag to set position!
The historic 'Agnew Spread' is the legacy of outback legend Tommy Agnew. Tommy arrived in Copley in the 1950s and set about constructing the many buildings on the site (spanning Lots 11, 12, 13), including houses, shops, sheds, huts and toilet blocks. The shops have housed various businesses over the decades including hairdresser, motel rooms, bush bakery and most recently as gift shop and gallery in the past few years after extensive renovations. The time has come for the Agnew Spread to change hands. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone looking for a creative project and an affordable inland-sea change. Copley in an eclectic little community with wide open spaces, plenty of peace and quiet and no local council. With mains electricity and SA Water mains supply, anything is possible. Many locals have thriving gardens and creative living spaces. Leigh Creek is 5km away with excellent services such as an IGA supermarket, health clinic, school and public library. Nestled in the northern Flinders Ranges, Copley is on the way to Arkaroola to the east, The desert tracks to the north and of course the incredible natural wonders of the Flinders Ranges to the south. Enjoy this photo tour of the Agnew Spread by looking in the folders we've created here, and if you are interested in following your dreams into the desert, contact Real Estate Agent Geoff Williams on 08 86486069.
