My name is Monica Spicer.

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina... but now I live in Melbourne, Australia

I've turned 60 years young this past January, and for the last 10 years I have been designing and selling BJD clothes and accessories.

It seem like the obvious thing to do after spending the previous 25 years creating collectible teddy bears and their clothes.

Don't get me wrong, I loved making them, specially after seeing the final result... those little eyes looking for someone to give them a forever home ... but what I thrived on the most was making clothes for them.

So, browsing through the internet, after having a break from designing bears, I fell in love with some beautiful, articulated dolls, which I had to find out more.

It took me a while to adopt one of these beauties, as they're not cheap... but once I put my thinking cap on, I came up with some clothes designs of my own... and I was hooked...!!

I decided to list the outfits on Facebook after joining a FB group that follow these dolls. They were a hit and as they say, the rest is history.

Now, I have a lovely line of followers who wait with anticipation for the next set of clothes, wigs and accessories to be listed for sale.

Life couldn't be better. I love my life as I truly enjoy what I create, and the cherry on my cake is finding I make people happy with what I do... :D
