BEGINNING
I first met the photograph as a child when I looked at my father's black and white photos with their portraits. The pieces of paper caught me so much that I wanted to learn that too. As a ten year old, I got a Russian camera "SMENA" from my aunt. The beginnings were hard - lots of controls to adjust the aperture, distance and time. The first black-and-white photos were more of chance than a thoughtful photo. I had no one to give me any advice, so I soon left.
I came back to the photo shoot in adulthood. It was not a great art. I devoted myself to family portraits on black and white and later on color 35mm film. An essential milestone was the autumn shoot of the Rychory Old Forest with a group of photographers from Hradec Kralove (Czech Republic) in October 2004. I had no camera at that time, I went with them as an escort. When we were there, my friend handed me an Olympus digital camera, saying, "Set the aperture priority and take pictures!"
PHOTOS
I bought my own digital camera, "Minolta", and it was a thorny journey to take the best picture. I was doing landscape photography. A whole new world was opened in front of me - more colorful, full of new shapes. I was enthusiastic about making different shots. I signed up for the photo server Photopost, where I started publishing photos. Their evaluation gradually changed my enthusiasm in frustration. Above all, I missed my experience and quickly realized that I was far from perfect.
I did not give up and began to study the technique and the way of photography. I've read a lot of articles and tried lots of tutorials. I was incredibly struggling with camera settings, photo editing and myself. Later I bought a SLR camera, and over time it replaced the set of lenses with various others. From components (body, lenses, bag, tripod, card ...), I put together an average photo-set for an amateur and again learned how to use the new technique. Self-study was challenging. I made a lot of mistakes. I visited many photocourses and eventually visited the photo school at FotoInstitut in Prague. There was a whole new sense of taking pictures.
I enjoy going to the mountains and visiting new landscapes unknown to me. I joined my tourist passion with passion for photography. When traveling, I plan more photography with regard to the location of the sun and the landscape. I also added photos of the night landscape to my shots.
I try to record the nature of the landscape and the people living there. Part of the shots I want to share with you.
