About Me:

 

Born in Nottingham and still live pretty local to where I grew up (Mapperley).

I did fairly well at school, went to college and have an 'A' level in Art.

Now I'm a Lithographic Print Manager/Printer (25 years exp.)

Around 18 years ago I developed an interest in video editing and my obsession grew until 2007 my wife and I set up a mixed media business, mostly covering Weddings. More recently cooperate videos, private and promotional work. This business has now took a back seat as I concentrate on my career in the Print Industry.

My interest in photography has always been there since I was young but over the years I have been very driven in improving my skill set, and along with it kept as up to date equipment wise as is feasibly possible.

I'm a huge fan of Adobe software, have been for years (since Adobe CS2) and predominantly use ADOBE CC for all my photo and video processing/editing.

I had a 7M x 3M photography studio built during the development of our house in 2014, this still gets used from time to time for photography, but its main use in recent years is as an editing studio and 'Man Cave'.

I believe in being respectful of others and carry high standards throughout all aspects of my life, I encourage my children to share my views.

I've always had a keen interest in cars and motorbikes, I do my upmost to keep the ones I own in immaculate condition. I've never used a car wash as I enjoy to wash them myself - I find it somewhat relaxing and rewarding.

My custom Harley Davidson 'Forty-Eight' is in exceptional shape as it only gets used in summer months as a treat for that part of the year.

I have a very healthy lifestyle, enjoy running, weight training and done various martial arts 5-6 days a week for 25 years without much more than a week off... ever!

I have two sons (born Dec 2007 and June 2012) of whom I'm very proud.

I try to go snowboarding a couple of times a year to the French Alps and soak in the crisp air, beautiful scenery and unique atmosphere. (Not so much lately).....

From this, I developed a love of quality Red Wine.
